Space Applications Services designs and develops innovative systems, solutions and products for aerospace and other high-tech customers. Main markets: solutions for and operations of monitoring and control (incl. remote) of complex space and ground control systems and robotics.
Space Applications Services has close to 25 years of experience of successful projects for customers including the European Space Agency, the European Union, EADS/Astrium, Thales Alenia Space, and many other major players in international aerospace.
Space Applications Services has wide experience in the design, implementation & operation of facilities for monitoring & control, simulation, test and training.
We provide on-site engineering services for systems engineering and operations of complex systems.
Space Applications Services provides complete robotics systems and software solutions for control of fixed and mobile robots, including remote handling via exoskeletons with force-feedback haptics, and with local virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR) visualization for the operator, and systems for teleoperation and training of operations and maintenance procedures in VR/AR environments.
The vast majority of our staff have as a minimum a university degree in science or technology, which, coupled with the application of very stringent Quality and Product Assurance processes and procedures, ensure the highest level of standards of the products, solutions and services we provide to our demanding international customers.
